Proverbs 1:20-23
The Call of Wisdom
20 aWisdom cries aloud in the street,in the markets she raises her voice;
21at the head of the noisy streets she cries out;
at bthe entrance of the city gates she speaks:
22“How long, O csimple ones, will you love being simple?
How long will dscoffers delight in their scoffing
and fools ehate knowledge?
23If you turn at my reproof, ▼
▼Or Will you turn away at my reproof?
behold, I will gpour out my spirit to you;
I will make my words known to you.

The Blessings of Wisdom
1 Does not hwisdom call?Does not iunderstanding raise her voice?
2On jthe heights beside the way,
at the crossroads she takes her stand;
3beside kthe gates in front of lthe town,
at the entrance of the portals she cries aloud:
4“To you, O mmen, I call,
and my cry is to nthe children of man.
5O osimple ones, learn pprudence;
O qfools, learn sense.
