Proverbs 1:22-23

22“How long, O asimple ones, will you love being simple?
How long will bscoffers delight in their scoffing
and fools chate knowledge?
23If you turn at my reproof,
Or Will you turn away at my reproof?

behold, I will epour out my spirit to you;
I will make my words known to you.

Proverbs 8:4-5

4“To you, O fmen, I call,
and my cry is to gthe children of man.
5O hsimple ones, learn iprudence;
O jfools, learn sense.

Proverbs 9:4-6

4 kWhoever is simple, let him turn in here!”
lTo him who lacks sense she says,
5Come, meat of my bread
and ndrink of othe wine I have mixed.
6Leave pyour simple ways,
Or  Leave the company of the simple
and rlive,
sand walk in the way of insight.”

Isaiah 1:16-20

16 tWash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes;
ucease to do evil,
17learn to do good;
vseek justice,
correct oppression;
wbring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow’s cause.
18 Come now, xlet us reason
Or dispute
together, says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as zwhite as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool.
19 aaIf you are willing and obedient,
you shall eat the good of the land;
20but if you refuse and rebel,
you shall be eaten by the sword;
abfor the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Isaiah 55:6-7

6 acSeek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
7let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Jeremiah 4:3-4

3For thus says the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem:

adBreak up your fallow ground,
and aesow not among thorns.
4 afCircumcise yourselves to the Lord;
remove the foreskin of your hearts,
O men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem;
aglest my wrath go forth like fire,
and burn with none to quench it,
ahbecause of the evil of your deeds.”

Jeremiah 7:3-7

3Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: aiAmend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place. 4 ajDo not trust in these deceptive words: ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’

5For if you truly akamend your ways and your deeds, if you truly alexecute justice one with another, 6if you amdo not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, anor shed innocent blood in this place, aoand if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, 7 apthen I will let you dwell in this place, aqin the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever.
