The Greek word anthropoi can refer to both men and women
but as what it really is, the word of God, twhich is at work in you believers.

1 Thessalonians 4:1

we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you vreceived from us whow you ought to walk and xto please God, just as you are doing, that you ydo so more and more.
