Proverbs 2:1-6

The Value of Wisdom

1 bMy son, cif you receive my words
and treasure up my commandments with you,
2making your ear attentive to wisdom
and inclining your heart to understanding;
3yes, if you call out for insight
and raise your voice dfor understanding,
4if you seek it like esilver
and search for it as for fhidden treasures,
5then gyou will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.
6For hthe Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;

Proverbs 4:5-6

5 iGet wisdom; get jinsight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.
6Do not forsake her, and she will keep you;
klove her, and she will guard you.

and mthose who seek me diligently find me.
