Proverbs 10:4

4A slack hand acauses poverty,
bbut the hand of the diligent makes rich.

Proverbs 23:20-21

20Be not among cdrunkards
Hebrew those who drink too much wine

or among egluttonous eaters of meat,
21for the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty,
and fslumber will clothe them with rags.

Proverbs 24:30-34

30 gI passed by the field of a sluggard,
by the vineyard of a man hlacking sense,
31and behold, it was all overgrown with thorns;
the ground was covered with nettles,
and its stone iwall was broken down.
32Then I saw and jconsidered it;
I looked and received instruction.
33 kA little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest,
34and poverty will come upon you like a robber,
and want like an armed man.

Matthew 25:26

11Do not be slothful in zeal, nbe fervent in spirit,
Or  fervent in the Spirit
pserve the Lord.

Hebrews 6:12

12so that you may not be sluggish, but qimitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
