5 The righteousness of the blameless ^akeeps his way straight,
but the wicked falls by his own wickedness.

21 ^bBe assured, ^can evil person will not go unpunished,
but ^dthe offspring of the righteous will be delivered.

32 ^eThe wicked is overthrown through his evildoing,
but ^fthe righteous finds refuge in his death.

16 ^gfor the righteous falls ^hseven times and rises again,
but ⁱthe wicked stumble in times of calamity.

5 You shall stumble by day;
the prophet also shall stumble with you by night;
and I will destroy ^jyour mother.

1 ^kReturn, O Israel, to the Lord your God,
for ^lyou have stumbled because of your iniquity.

2 “Fallen, no more to rise,

forsaken on her land,
