8 ^aThe righteous is delivered from trouble,
and the wicked walks into it instead.

6 ^bRighteousness guards him whose ^cway is blameless,
but sin overthrows the wicked.

2 Whoever ^dwalks in uprightness fears the Lord,
but he who is ^edevious in his ways despises him.

8 ^fThe sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,
but ^gthe prayer of the upright is acceptable to him.
