Proverbs 12:10

10 ^aWhoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast,
but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.

1 Corinthians 9:9-10

9 For it is written in the Law of Moses, ^b“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10 Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written ^cfor our sake, because ^dthe plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop.

1 Timothy 5:17-18
