Proverbs 12:10

10 aWhoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast,
but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.

1 Corinthians 9:9-10

9For it is written in the Law of Moses, b“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written cfor our sake, because dthe plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop.

1 Timothy 5:17-18

17Let the elders ewho rule well be considered worthy of fdouble honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. 18For the Scripture says, g“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, h“The laborer deserves his wages.”
