Proverbs 13:24

24 aWhoever spares the rod hates his son,
but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.
Or  who loves him disciplines him early

Proverbs 19:18

18 cDiscipline your son, for there is hope;
do not set your heart on dputting him to death.

Proverbs 23:13-14

13Do not withhold ediscipline from a child;
fif you strike him with a rod, he will not die.
14If you strike him with the rod,
you will gsave his soul from Sheol.

Proverbs 29:15

15 hThe rod and reproof give wisdom,
but a child left to himself ibrings shame to his mother.

Proverbs 29:17

17 jDiscipline your son, and he will give you rest;
he will give delight to your heart.

Hebrews 12:10-11

10For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, kthat we may share his holiness. 11 lFor the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields mthe peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
