Proverbs 16:5

5Everyone who is arrogant in heart is aan abomination to the Lord;

and a haughty spirit before a fall.

than to edivide the spoil with the proud.

Proverbs 30:9

Isaiah 9:9-10

Habakkuk 2:4-5

His greed is as wide as Sheol;

James 4:6

6But rhe gives more grace. Therefore it says, sGod opposes the proud but tgives grace to the humble.”

1 Peter 5:5
