Proverbs 17:23

23The wicked accepts aa bribe in secret

to cpervert the ways of justice.

Ecclesiastes 7:7

7Surely doppression drives the wise into madness,
and ea bribe corrupts the heart.

Isaiah 1:17

17learn to do good;
fseek justice,
correct oppression;
gbring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow’s cause.

Isaiah 1:23

23Your princes are rebels
and companions of thieves.
Everyone hloves a bribe
and runs after gifts.
iThey do not bring justice to the fatherless,
and the widow’s cause does not come to them.

Isaiah 33:15

Jeremiah 5:28

and they do not defend the rights of the needy.

Ezekiel 22:12

12In you nthey take bribes to shed blood; oyou take interest and profit
That is, profit that comes from charging interest to the poor (compare Leviticus 25:36)
and make gain of your neighbors by extortion; but qme you have forgotten, declares the Lord God.

Micah 7:3

3 rTheir hands are on what is evil, to do it well;
