1Whoever aisolates himself seeks his own desire;
he breaks out against all sound judgment.
2A fool takes no pleasure in understanding,
but only bin expressing his opinion.

Matthew 6:1-2

Giving to the Needy

1Beware of cpracticing your righteousness before other people in order dto be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

2 eThus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may fbe praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have greceived their reward.

Matthew 6:5

The Lord’s Prayer

5And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love hto stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. iTruly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

Fasting

16And jwhen you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. kTruly, I say to you, they have received their reward.
