Proverbs 19:12

12A king’s wrath is like athe growling of a lion,
but his bfavor is like cdew on the grass.

Isaiah 5:29

29Their roaring is like a lion,
like young lions they roar;
they growl and dseize their prey;
they carry it off, and none can rescue.

Isaiah 31:4

4 For thus the Lord said to me,
e“As a lion or a young lion growls over his prey,
and when a band of shepherds is called out against him
he is not terrified by their shouting
or daunted at their noise,
fso the Lord of hosts will come down
to fight
The Hebrew words for  hosts and  to fight sound alike
on Mount Zion and on its hill.

Isaiah 42:13

13 hThe Lord goes out like a mighty man,
like a man of war ihe stirs up his zeal;
he cries out, jhe shouts aloud,
he shows himself mighty against his foes.

Jeremiah 25:30

30“You, therefore, shall prophesy against them all these words, and say to them:

k“‘The Lord will roar from on high,
and from his holy habitation utter his voice;
he will roar mightily against his fold,
land shout, like those who tread grapes,
against all the inhabitants of the earth.

Joel 3:16

16 mThe Lord roars from Zion,
and nutters his voice from Jerusalem,
oand the heavens and the earth quake.
But the Lord is pa refuge to his people,
a stronghold to the people of Israel.

Amos 1:2
