Proverbs 19:27

27Cease to hear instruction, my son,
aand you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Jeremiah 27:9-10

9So bdo not listen to your cprophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your dfortune-tellers, or your sorcerers, who are saying to you, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon.’ 10 eFor it is a lie that they are prophesying to you, with the result that you will be removed far from your land, and I will drive you out, and you will perish.

Jeremiah 27:14-17

14 fDo not listen to the words of the prophets who are saying to you, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon,’ gfor it is a lie that they are prophesying to you. 15I have not sent them, declares the Lord, but hthey are prophesying falsely in my name, with the result that I will drive you out and you will perish, you and the prophets who are prophesying to you.”

16Then I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, “Thus says the Lord: iDo not listen to the words of your prophets who are prophesying to you, saying, jBehold, the vessels of the Lord’s house will now shortly be brought back from Babylon,’ kfor it is a lie that they are prophesying to you. 17 lDo not listen to them; mserve the king of Babylon and live. Why should this city nbecome a desolation?

Jeremiah 29:8

8For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: oDo not let your prophets and pyour diviners who are among you deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams that they dream,
Hebrew your dreams, which you cause to dream

Matthew 7:15

A Tree and Its Fruit

15 rBeware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are sravenous wolves.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15

13For such men are tfalse apostles, udeceitful workmen, vdisguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as wan angel of light. 15So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as xservants of righteousness. yTheir end will correspond to their deeds.

Galatians 1:8-9

8But even if we or zan angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, aalet him be accursed. 9As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, ablet him be accursed.
