Proverbs 2:2-5

2making your ear attentive to wisdom
and inclining your heart to understanding;
3yes, if you call out for insight
and raise your voice afor understanding,
4if you seek it like bsilver
and search for it as for chidden treasures,
5then dyou will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.

Proverbs 16:16

16 eHow much better to get wisdom than fgold!
To get understanding is to be chosen rather than gsilver.

Proverbs 17:16

16Why should a fool have money in his hand hto buy wisdom
when he has no sense?

1Whoever iisolates himself seeks his own desire;
he breaks out against all sound judgment.
