Proverbs 20:1

1 aWine is a mocker, bstrong drink a brawler,
and whoever cis led astray by it is not wise.
Or will not become wise

Proverbs 23:29-35

29 eWho has woe? Who has sorrow?
Who has strife? Who has complaining?
Who has fwounds without cause?
Who has gredness of eyes?
30Those who htarry long over wine;
those who go to try imixed wine.
31Do not look at wine when it is red,
when it sparkles in the cup
and goes down smoothly.
32In the end it jbites like a serpent
and stings like an adder.
33Your eyes will see strange things,
and your heart utter kperverse things.
34You will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea,
like one who lies on the top of a mast.
Or  of the rigging

35“They mstruck me,” you will say,
Hebrew lacks  you will say
“but I was not hurt;
they beat me, but I did not feel it.
When shall I awake?
I omust have another drink.”

Proverbs 28:7

7The one who keeps the law is a son with understanding,
but pa companion of gluttons shames his father.

Proverbs 31:6-7

6Give strong drink to the one who qis perishing,
and wine to rthose in bitter distress;
Hebrew  those bitter in soul

7 tlet them drink and forget their poverty
and remember their misery no more.

Isaiah 5:11

11 Woe to those who urise early in the morning,
that they may run after strong drink,
who tarry late into the evening
as wine inflames them!

Isaiah 5:22

22Woe to those who are vheroes at drinking wine,
and valiant men in mixing strong drink,

Isaiah 22:13

13and behold, joy and gladness,
killing oxen and slaughtering sheep,
eating flesh and drinking wine.
