22 ^aA wise man scales the city of the mighty
and brings down the stronghold in which they trust.

Proverbs 24:5

5 ^bA wise man is full of strength,
and a man of knowledge enhances his might,

Ecclesiastes 7:12

12 For the protection of wisdom is like ^cthe protection of money,
and the advantage of knowledge is that ^dwisdom preserves the life of him who has it.

Ecclesiastes 9:13-18

13 I have also seen this example of wisdom under the sun, and it seemed great to me. 14 There was a little city with few men in it, and a great king came against it and besieged it, building great siegeworks against it. 15 But there was found in it ^ea poor, wise man, and he by his ^fwisdom delivered the city. Yet no one remembered that poor man. 16 But I say that ^gwisdom is better than might, though ^hthe poor man’s wisdom is despised and his words are not heard.

17 The words of the wise heard in ⁱquiet are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools. 18 ^jWisdom is better than weapons of war, but ^kone sinner destroys much good.
