Isaiah 1:10-15

I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams
and the fat of well-fed beasts;
I do not delight in the blood of bulls,

who has required of you
this trampling of my courts?
13Bring no more vain offerings;
incense is an abomination to me.
jNew moon and Sabbath and the kcalling of convocations
I cannot endure liniquity and msolemn assembly.
14Your nnew moons and your appointed feasts
my soul hates;
they have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them.
15When you ospread out your hands,
I will hide my eyes from you;
peven though you make many prayers,
I will not listen;
qyour hands are full of blood.

Isaiah 61:8

8 rFor I the Lord love justice;
I hate robbery and wrong;
Or  robbery with a burnt offering

tI will faithfully give them their recompense,
uand I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Isaiah 66:3

3 v“He who slaughters an ox is like one who kills a man;
he who sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog’s neck;
he who presents a grain offering, like one who offers wpig’s blood;
he who makes a memorial offering of frankincense, like one who blesses an idol.
xThese have chosen their own ways,
and their soul delights in their abominations;

Jeremiah 6:20

20 yWhat use to me is zfrankincense that comes from aaSheba,
or sweet cane from a distant land?
abYour burnt offerings are not acceptable,
nor your sacrifices pleasing to me.

Jeremiah 7:21-23

21Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: acAdd your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat the flesh. 22For in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, I did not speak to your fathers or command them adconcerning burnt offerings and sacrifices. 23But this command I gave them: aeObey my voice, and afI will be your God, and you shall be my people. agAnd walk in all the way that I command you, ahthat it may be well with you.’

Amos 5:21-22

21 ai“I hate, I despise your feasts,
and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies.
22 ajEven though you offer me your burnt offerings and grain offerings,
I will not accept them;
and the peace offerings of your fattened animals,
I will not look upon them.
