22 aDo not rob the poor, because he is poor,

and rob of life those who rob them.

Evil Under the Sun

1 hAgain I isaw all jthe oppressions that are done under the sun. And behold, the tears of the oppressed, and they had kno one to comfort them! On the side of their oppressors there was power, and there was no one to comfort them.

The Unfaithful City

21 How the faithful city
vhas become a whore,
Or  become unchaste

xshe who was full of justice!
Righteousness lodged in her,
but now murderers.
22 yYour silver has become dross,
your best wine mixed with water.
23Your princes are rebels
and companions of thieves.
Everyone zloves a bribe
and runs after gifts.
aaThey do not bring justice to the fatherless,
and the widow’s cause does not come to them.
24 Therefore the abLord declares,
the Lord of hosts,
the acMighty One of Israel:
Ah, I will get relief from my enemies
adand avenge myself on my foes.

Isaiah 5:8

Woe to the Wicked

8 Woe to those who aejoin house to house,
who add field to field,
until there is no more room,
and you are made to dwell alone
in the midst of the land.

Isaiah 58:6

6 “Is not this the fast that I choose:
afto loose the bonds of wickedness,
to undo the straps agof the yoke,
to let the oppressed
Or bruised
go free,
and to break every yoke?
