20 aSheol and Abaddon are bnever satisfied,
and cnever satisfied are the eyes of man.

Ecclesiastes 1:8

8All things are full of weariness;
a man cannot utter it;
dthe eye is not satisfied with seeing,
nor the ear filled with hearing.

10He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.

Habakkuk 2:5-9

5 Moreover, wine

is fa traitor,
an arrogant man who is never at rest.
The meaning of the Hebrew of these two lines is uncertain

His greed is as wide as Sheol;
like death hhe has never enough.
iHe gathers for himself all nations
and collects as his own all peoples.”

Woe to the Chaldeans

6Shall not all these jtake up their taunt against him, with scoffing and riddles for him, and say,

kWoe to him lwho heaps up what is not his own—
for mhow long?—
and nloads himself with pledges!”
7 oWill not your debtors suddenly arise,
and those awake who will make you tremble?
Then you will be spoil for them.
8 pBecause you have plundered many nations,
all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder you,
qfor the blood of man and rviolence to the earth,
to cities and all who dwell in them.
9 sWoe to him who gets evil gain for his house,
tto uset his nest on high,
to be safe from the reach of harm!

1 John 2:16

16For all that is in the worldvthe desires of the flesh and wthe desires of the eyes and pride of life
Or  pride in possessions
is not from the Father but is from the world.
