Proverbs 28:13

13Whoever aconceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who bconfesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Luke 3:8-14

8Bear fruits cin keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, d‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you, God is able from ethese stones to raise up children for Abraham. 9Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. fEvery tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

10And the crowds asked him, gWhat then shall we do?” 11And he answered them, h“Whoever has two tunics
Greek chiton, a long garment worn under the cloak next to the skin
is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
12 jTax collectors also came to be baptized and said to him, “Teacher, kwhat shall we do?” 13And he said to them, lCollect no more than you are authorized to do.” 14Soldiers also asked him, “And we, mwhat shall we do?” And he said to them, n“Do not extort money from anyone by threats or by false accusation, and be content with your owages.”

Ephesians 4:22

Ephesians 4:25-28

25Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you tspeak the truth with his neighbor, for uwe are members one of another. 26 vBe angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27and wgive no opportunity to the devil. 28Let the thief no longer steal, but rather xlet him labor, ydoing honest work with his own hands, so zthat he may have something to share with anyone in need.
