Jeremiah 5:3

3O Lord, do not your eyes look for truth?
kYou have struck them down,
but they felt no anguish;
you have consumed them,
but they refused to take correction.

they have refused to repent.

Jeremiah 8:12

12Were they ashamed when they committed abomination?
No, mthey were not at all ashamed;
they did not know how to blush.
nTherefore they shall fall among the fallen;
when I punish them, they shall be overthrown,

Jeremiah 44:16-17

16“As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, owe will not listen to you. 17 pBut we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to qthe queen of heaven rand pour out drink offerings to her, sas we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster.
