Proverbs 29:1

1 aHe who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck,
will suddenly be bbroken cbeyond healing.

Isaiah 26:11

11O Lord, dyour hand is lifted up,
but ethey do not see it.
Let them see your zeal for your people, and be ashamed.
Let fthe fire for your adversaries consume them.

Jeremiah 5:3

3O Lord, do not your eyes look for truth?
gYou have struck them down,
but they felt no anguish;
you have consumed them,
but they refused to take correction.
hThey have made their faces harder than rock;
they have refused to repent.

Jeremiah 36:24

Amos 4:7-12

7 I also owithheld the rain from you
when there were yet three months to the harvest;
pI would send rain on one city,
and send no rain on another city;
one field would have rain,
and the field on which it did not rain would wither;
8so two or three cities qwould wander to another city
to drink water, and would not be satisfied;
ryet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.
9 s“I struck you with blight and mildew;
your many gardens and your vineyards,
your fig trees and your olive trees tthe locust devoured;
uyet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.
10 “I sent among you a pestilence vafter the manner of Egypt;
I killed your young men with the sword,
and wcarried away your horses,
Hebrew along with the captivity of your horses

and yI made the stench of your camp go up into your nostrils;
zyet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.
11 “I overthrew some of you,
aaas when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,
and you were abas a brand
That is,  a burning stick
plucked out of the burning;
adyet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.
12 Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel;
because I will do this to you,
prepare to meet your God, O Israel!”

Habakkuk 1:5

The Lord’s Answer

5 aeLook among the nations, and see;
wonder and be astounded.
afFor I am doing a work in your days
that you would not believe if told.
