23 aOne’s pride will bring him low,
bbut he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.

12 pI fast twice a week; qI give tithes of all that I get.’ 13But the tax collector, rstanding far off, swould not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but tbeat his breast, saying, ‘God, ube merciful to me, a sinner!’ 14I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For veveryone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

James 4:6

6But whe gives more grace. Therefore it says, xGod opposes the proud but ygives grace to the humble.”
