Proverbs 29:25

25 aThe fear of man lays a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.

Isaiah 51:12-13

12 “I, I am he bwho comforts you;
who are you that you are afraid of cman who dies,
of the son of man who is made dlike grass,
13and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker,
ewho stretched out the heavens
and flaid the foundations of the earth,
and you fear continually all the day
because of the wrath of gthe oppressor,
when he sets himself to destroy?
And where is the wrath of hthe oppressor?

Matthew 26:69-75

Peter Denies Jesus

69 iNow Peter was sitting outside jin the courtyard. And a servant girl came up to him and said, “You also were with Jesus the Galilean.” 70But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you mean.” 71And when he went out to the entrance, another servant girl saw him, and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus kof Nazareth.” 72And again he denied it with an oath: “I do not know the man.” 73After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Certainly you too are one of them, for lyour accent betrays you.” 74Then he began to invoke a curse on himself and to swear, “I do not know the man.” And immediately the rooster crowed. 75And Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, mBefore the rooster crows, you will ndeny me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly.

Galatians 2:12-13

12For before certain men came from James, ohe was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing pthe circumcision party.
Or  fearing those of the circumcision
13And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.
