Proverbs 29:4

4By justice a king abuilds up the land,
but he who exacts gifts
Or  who taxes heavily
tears it down.

Ecclesiastes 7:12

12For the protection of wisdom is like cthe protection of money,
and the advantage of knowledge is that dwisdom preserves the life of him who has it.

Ecclesiastes 7:19

19 eWisdom gives strength to the wise man more than ten rulers who are in a city.

Ecclesiastes 9:14-18

14There was a little city with few men in it, and a great king came against it and besieged it, building great siegeworks against it. 15But there was found in it fa poor, wise man, and he by his gwisdom delivered the city. Yet no one remembered that poor man. 16But I say that hwisdom is better than might, though ithe poor man’s wisdom is despised and his words are not heard.

17The words of the wise heard in jquiet are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools. 18 kWisdom is better than weapons of war, but lone sinner destroys much good.

Jeremiah 22:15-17

15Do you think you are a king
because you compete in cedar?
Did not your father eat and drink
and mdo justice and righteousness?
nThen it was well with him.
16 oHe judged the cause of the poor and needy;
pthen it was well.
Is not this qto know me?
declares the Lord.
17But you have eyes and heart
only for your dishonest gain,
rfor shedding innocent blood,
and for practicing oppression and violence.”
