bfear the Lord, and turn away from evil.

Isaiah 55:8-9

to save those who believe.
22For gJews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23but we preach Christ hcrucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ithe power of God and jthe wisdom of God. 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16

14The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are kfolly to him, and lhe is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15The mspiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16 nFor who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But owe have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20

18 pLet no one deceive himself. qIf anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19For rthe wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, s“He catches the wise in their craftiness,” 20and again, t“The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”
