3 Thus says the Lord:

ⁱ“For three transgressions of ^jDamascus,
and for four, ^kI will not revoke the punishment, ^{▼▼Hebrew I will not turn it back; also verses 6, 9, 11, 13}
because they have threshed ^mGilead
with threshing sledges of iron.

Amos 1:6

6 Thus says the Lord:

ⁿ“For three transgressions of ^oGaza,
and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,
because ^pthey carried into exile a whole people
to deliver them up to Edom.

Amos 1:9

9 Thus says the Lord:

^q“For three transgressions of ^rTyre,
and for four, I will not revoke the punishment,
because they delivered up a whole people to Edom,
and did not remember the covenant of brotherhood.

11 Thus says the Lord:
