Proverbs 6:16-17

16 There are asix things that the Lord hates,
bseven that are an abomination to him:
17 chaughty eyes, da lying tongue,
and ehands that shed innocent blood,

Proverbs 16:5

5Everyone who is arrogant in heart is fan abomination to the Lord;
gbe assured, he will not go unpunished.

Isaiah 23:9

9The Lord of hosts has purposed it,
hto defile the pompous pride of all glory,
The Hebrew words for  glory and  hosts sound alike

to dishonor all the honored of the earth.

Daniel 4:37

37Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, jpraise and extol and honor the kKing of heaven, lfor all his works are right and his ways are just; and mthose who walk in pride he is able to humble.

Daniel 5:20-24

20But nwhen his heart was lifted up and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, ohe was brought down from his kingly throne, and his glory was taken from him. 21 pHe was driven from among the children of mankind, and his mind was made like that of a beast, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, quntil he knew that the rMost High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will. 22And you his son,

Matthew 23:12

12 acWhoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

Luke 14:11

11For adeveryone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
