Proverbs 6:9-11

9 aHow long will you lie there, bO sluggard?
When will you arise from your sleep?
10 cA little sleep, a little slumber,
da little efolding of the hands to rest,
11 fand poverty will come upon you like a robber,
and want like an armed man.

Proverbs 10:4

4A slack hand gcauses poverty,
hbut the hand of the diligent makes rich.

Proverbs 12:11

11 iWhoever works his land jwill have plenty of bread,
kbut he who follows lworthless pursuits lacks sense.

Proverbs 13:4

4 mThe soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing,
while the soul of the diligent nis richly supplied.

Proverbs 19:15

15 oSlothfulness casts into pa deep sleep,
and qan idle person will suffer hunger.

Proverbs 24:30-34

30 rI passed by the field of a sluggard,
by the vineyard of a man slacking sense,
31and behold, it was all overgrown with thorns;
the ground was covered with nettles,
and its stone twall was broken down.

I looked and received instruction.
