Proverbs 7:21-23

21 With much seductive speech she persuades him;
with aher smooth talk she compels him.
22All at once he follows her,
as an ox goes to the slaughter,
or as a stag is caught fast
Probable reading (compare Septuagint, Vulgate, Syriac); Hebrew  as an anklet for the discipline of a fool

23till an arrow pierces its liver;
as ca bird rushes into a snare;
he does not know that it will cost him his life.

Proverbs 7:26-27

26for many a victim has she laid low,
and all her slain are da mighty throng.
27Her house is ethe way to Sheol,
going down to the chambers of death.

Proverbs 23:33-34

33Your eyes will see strange things,
and your heart utter fperverse things.
34You will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea,
like one who lies on the top of a mast.

Ecclesiastes 7:26

26And I find something more hbitter than death: ithe woman whose heart is jsnares and nets, and whose hands are fetters. He who pleases God escapes her, but kthe sinner is taken by her.
