jJob 38:6 (Heb.)

Proverbs 8:22-31

22 a“The Lord bpossessed
Or fathered; Septuagint created
me at the beginning of his work,
Hebrew way

the first of his acts eof old.
23Ages ago I was fset up,
at the first, gbefore the beginning of the earth.
24When there were no hdepths I was ibrought forth,
when there were no springs abounding with water.
25Before the mountains jhad been shaped,
kbefore the hills, I was brought forth,
26before he had made the earth with its fields,
or the first of the dust of the world.
27When he lestablished the heavens, I was there;
when he drew ma circle on the face of the deep,
28when he nmade firm the skies above,
when he established
The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain
the fountains of the deep,
29when he passigned to the sea its qlimit,
so that the waters might not transgress his command,
when he marked out rthe foundations of the earth,
30then sI was beside him, like a master workman,
and I was daily his
Or  daily filled with
udelight,
rejoicing before him always,
31 vrejoicing in his winhabited world
and delighting in the children of man.

Isaiah 41:4

4 xWho has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
yI, the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he.

Ch 5:1 in Hebrew

John 1:1-18

The Word Became Flesh

1 afIn the beginning was agthe Word, and ahthe Word was with God, and aithe Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3 ajAll things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 akIn him was life,
Or  was not any thing made. That which has been made was life in him
and amthe life was the light of men.
5 anThe light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

6There was a man aosent from God, whose name was apJohn. 7He came as a aqwitness, to bear witness about the light, arthat all might believe through him. 8 asHe was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.

9 atThe true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet authe world did not know him. 11He came to avhis own,
Greek  to his own things; that is, to his own domain, or to his own people
and axhis own people
People is implied in Greek
azdid not receive him.
12But to all who did receive him, bawho believed in his name, bbhe gave the right bcto become bdchildren of God, 13who bewere born, bfnot of blood bgnor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

14And bhthe Word bibecame flesh and bjdwelt among us, bkand we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of blgrace and bmtruth. 15( bnJohn bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, bo‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”) 16For from bphis fullness we have all received, bqgrace upon grace.
Or  grace in place of grace
17For bsthe law was given through Moses; btgrace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 buNo one has ever seen God; bvthe only God,
Or  the only One, who is God; some manuscripts  the only Son
who is at the Father’s side,
Greek in the bosom of the Father
byhe has made him known.

John 8:58

58Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, bzI am.”

1 John 2:13

13I am writing to you, fathers,
because you know cahim who is from the beginning.
I am writing to you, young men,
because cbyou have overcome the evil one.
I write to you, children,
because ccyou know the Father.
