Proverbs 8:28-29

28when he amade firm the skies above,
when he established
The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain
the fountains of the deep,
29when he cassigned to the sea its dlimit,
so that the waters might not transgress his command,
when he marked out ethe foundations of the earth,

Isaiah 50:2-4

2 fWhy, when I came, was there no man;
why, when I called, was there no one to answer?
gIs my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem?
Or have I no power to deliver?
hBehold, by my rebuke iI dry up the sea,
jI make the rivers a desert;
ktheir fish stink for lack of water
and die of thirst.
3 lI clothe the heavens with blackness
and make sackcloth their covering.”
4 The Lord God has given mme
the tongue of those who are taught,
that nI may know how to sustain with a word
ohim who is weary.
Morning by morning he awakens;
he awakens my ear
to hear as those who are taught.

Isaiah 63:12

Nahum 1:4

Habakkuk 3:8

8 vWas your wrath against the rivers, O Lord?
Was your anger against the rivers,

Mark 4:39
