Proverbs 9:1-6
The Way of Wisdom
1 aWisdom has built her house;she has hewn her bseven cpillars.
2She has dslaughtered her beasts; she has emixed her wine;
she has also fset her table.
3She has gsent out her young women to hcall
from ithe highest places in the town,
4 j“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!”
kTo him who lacks sense she says,
5“Come, leat of my bread
and mdrink of nthe wine I have mixed.
6Leave oyour simple ways, ▼
▼Or Leave the company of the simple
and qlive,rand walk in the way of insight.”

4 sAgain he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my tdinner, umy oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.”’Luke 14:16-17
16But he said to him, v“A man once wgave a great banquet and invited many. 17And at the time for the banquet he xsent his servant ▼▼Greek bondservant; also verses 21, 22, 23
to say to those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’
