Proverbs 9:7-8

7 Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse,
and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.
8 aDo not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you;
breprove a wise man, and he will love you.

Proverbs 26:4-5

4 cAnswer not a fool according to his folly,
lest you be like him yourself.
5 dAnswer a fool according to his folly,
lest he be ewise in his own eyes.

Isaiah 36:21

21But they were silent and answered him not a word, for the king’s command was, “Do not answer him.”

Acts 28:25-28
