The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked

1 Blessed is the man
The singular Hebrew word for  man (ish) is used here to portray a representative example of a godly person; see Preface

who bwalks not in cthe counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in dthe way of sinners,
nor esits in fthe seat of gscoffers;
2but his hdelight is in the law
Or instruction
of the Lord,
and on his jlaw he meditates day and night.

Proverbs 9:6

6Leave kyour simple ways,
Or  Leave the company of the simple
and mlive,
nand walk in the way of insight.”
