3 He is like aa tree
planted by bstreams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its cleaf does not wither.
dIn all that he does, he prospers.
4The wicked are not so,
but are like echaff that the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked fwill not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in gthe congregation of the righteous;

Psalms 11:5-6

5The Lord htests the righteous,
but ihis soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
6Let him rain coals on the wicked;
jfire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be kthe portion of their cup.

Ecclesiastes 8:13

13But it will lnot be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like ma shadow, because he does not fear before God.

Isaiah 48:22

22 n“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”

Isaiah 57:20-21

20 oBut the wicked are like the tossing sea;
for it cannot be quiet,
and its waters toss up mire and dirt.
21 pThere is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”

Isaiah 65:13-15

and the Lord God will put you to death,

Isaiah 65:20

20No more shall there be in it
an infant who lives but a few days,
or an old man who does not fill out his days,
for vthe young man shall die a hundred years old,
and wthe sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.
