Why Do You Hide Yourself?

1 Why, O Lord, do you stand afar away?
Why bdo you hide yourself in ctimes of trouble?

Psalms 42:9

Why have you forgotten me?

Or one of the offspring of Abraham
a member of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 aaGod has not rejected his people whom he abforeknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel?
