Why Do You Hide Yourself?

1 Why, O Lord, do you stand afar away?
Why bdo you hide yourself in ctimes of trouble?

Psalms 74:10-11

10How long, O God, dis the foe to scoff?
Is the enemy to revile your name forever?
11Why edo you hold back your hand, your right hand?
Take it from the fold of your garment
Hebrew  from your bosom
and destroy them!

Psalms 74:18-19

18 gRemember this, O Lord, how the enemy scoffs,
and ha foolish people reviles your name.
19Do not deliver the soul of your idove to the wild beasts;
jdo not forget the life of your poor forever.

Psalms 79:5

5 kHow long, O Lord? Will you be angry lforever?
Will your mjealousy nburn like fire?

3 oRestore us,
Or Turn us again; also verses 7, 19
O God;
qlet your face shine, that we may be saved!
4 O rLord God of hosts,
show long will you be angry with your people’s prayers?

Isaiah 42:14
