Psalms 10:8-10

8He sits in ambush in the villages;
in ahiding places he murders the innocent.
His eyes stealthily watch for the helpless;
9he lurks in ambush like ba lion in his cthicket;
he dlurks that he may seize the poor;
he seizes the poor when he draws him into his enet.
10The helpless are crushed, sink down,
and fall by his might.

Psalms 17:12

12He is like a lion eager to tear,
as a young lion flurking in ambush.

Psalms 35:7

7 For gwithout cause hthey hid their net for me;
without cause they dug ia pit for my life.
The word  pit is transposed from the preceding line; Hebrew  For without cause they hid the pit of their net for me; without cause they dug for my life

Proverbs 1:18

18but these men klie in wait for their own blood;
they lset an ambush for their own lives.

Jeremiah 11:19

19But I was mlike a gentle lamb
led to the slaughter.
I did not know nit was against me
they devised schemes, saying,
“Let us destroy the tree with its fruit,
olet us cut him off from pthe land of the living,
that his name be remembered no more.”

Jeremiah 18:18-20

18Then they said, qCome, let us make plots against Jeremiah, rfor the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. sCome, let us strike him with the tongue, and let us not pay attention to any of his words.”

19 Hear me, O Lord,
and tlisten to the voice of my adversaries.
20 uShould good be repaid with evil?
Yet vthey have dug a pit for my life.
wRemember how I stood before you
to speak good for them,
to turn away your wrath from them.
