Psalms 101:7

7 No one who apractices deceit
shall dwell in my house;
no one who utters lies
shall bcontinue before my eyes.

Jeremiah 20:3-6

3The next day, when cPashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks, Jeremiah said to him, “The Lord does not call your name dPashhur, but Terror on Every Side. 4For thus says the Lord: Behold, I will make you ea terror to yourself and to all your friends. They shall fall by the sword of their enemies while you look on. And I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon. He shall carry them captive to Babylon, and shall strike them down with the sword. 5Moreover, fI will give all the wealth of the city, all its gains, all its gprized belongings, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah into the hand of their enemies, who shall plunder them and seize them and carry them to Babylon. 6And you, hPashhur, and all who dwell in your house, shall go into captivity. To Babylon you shall go, and there you shall die, and there you shall be buried, you and all your friends, ito whom you have prophesied falsely.”

Jeremiah 28:15-17

15And Jeremiah the prophet said to the prophet Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah, jthe Lord has not sent you, kand you have made this people trust in a lie. 16Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, lbecause you have uttered rebellion against the Lord.’”

17In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died.

Jeremiah 29:21-22

21Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, mwho are prophesying a lie to you in my name: Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall strike them down before your eyes. 22 nBecause of them othis curse shall be used by all the exiles from Judah in Babylon: “The Lord make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, pwhom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire,”

Jeremiah 29:31-32

31Send to all the exiles, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord concerning qShemaiah of Nehelam: Because rShemaiah had prophesied to you swhen I did not send him, and has made you trust in a lie, 32therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, I will punish tShemaiah of Nehelam and his descendants. He shall not have anyone living among this people, uand he shall not see the good that I will do to my people, declares the Lord, vfor he has spoken rebellion against the Lord.’”

Ezekiel 11:13

13And it came to pass, while I was prophesying, wthat xPelatiah the son of Benaiah died. yThen I fell down on my face and cried out with a loud voice and said, zAh, Lord God! aaWill you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”

Ezekiel 14:9-10

9And if the prophet is deceived and speaks a word, abI, the Lord, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. 10And they shall bear their punishment
Or iniquity; three times in this verse
—the punishment of the prophet and the punishment of the inquirer shall be alike—
