Psalms 102:6-18

6I am like aa desert owl of the wilderness,
like an owl
The precise identity of these birds is uncertain
of the waste places;
7I clie awake;
I am like a lonely sparrow on the housetop.
8All the day my enemies taunt me;
those who dderide me euse my name for a curse.
9For I eat ashes like bread
and fmingle tears with my drink,
10because of your indignation and anger;
for you have gtaken me up and hthrown me down.
11My days are like ian evening shadow;
I jwither away like grass.
12 But you, O Lord, are kenthroned forever;
you lare remembered throughout all generations.
13You will marise and have npity on Zion;
it is the time to favor her;
othe appointed time has come.
14For your servants hold her pstones dear
and have pity on her dust.
15Nations will qfear the name of the Lord,
and all rthe kings of the earth will fear your glory.
16For the Lord sbuilds up Zion;
he tappears in his glory;
17he uregards the prayer of the destitute
and does not despise their prayer.
18 Let this be vrecorded for wa generation to come,
so that xa people yet to be created may praise the Lord:
