Psalms 103

Bless the Lord, O My Soul

Of David.

1 aBless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
2 bBless the Lord, O my soul,
and cforget not all his benefits,
3who dforgives all your iniquity,
who eheals all your diseases,
4who fredeems your life from the pit,
who gcrowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5who hsatisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like ithe eagle’s.
6 The Lord works jrighteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
7He made known his kways to Moses,
his lacts to the people of Israel.
8The Lord is mmerciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 nHe will not always chide,
nor will he okeep his anger forever.
10He does not deal with us paccording to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11For qas high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his rsteadfast love toward sthose who fear him;
12as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he tremove our transgressions from us.
13As ua father shows compassion to his children,
so the Lord shows compassion vto those who fear him.
14For he knows our frame;
Or  knows how we are formed

he xremembers that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are like ygrass;
he flourishes like za flower of the field;
16for aathe wind passes over it, and abit is gone,
and acits place knows it no more.
17But adthe steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on aethose who fear him,
and his righteousness to afchildren’s children,
18to those who agkeep his covenant
and ahremember to do his commandments.
19The Lord has aiestablished his throne in the heavens,
and his ajkingdom rules over all.
20 Bless the Lord, O you akhis angels,
you almighty ones who amdo his word,
obeying the voice of his word!
21Bless the Lord, all his anhosts,
his aoministers, who do his will!
22 apBless the Lord, all his works,
in all places of his dominion.
aqBless the Lord, O my soul!
