Psalms 105:37-43

37 Then he brought out Israel with asilver and gold,
and there was none among his tribes who stumbled.
38 bEgypt was glad when they departed,
for cdread of them had fallen upon it.
39 He dspread a cloud for a covering,
and fire to give light by night.
40 eThey asked, and he fbrought quail,
and gave them gbread from heaven in abundance.
41He opened the rock, and hwater gushed out;
it flowed through ithe desert like a river.
42For he jremembered his holy promise,
and kAbraham, his servant.
43 So he brought his people out with joy,
his lchosen ones with msinging.

Psalms 136:16-24

16to him who nled his people through the wilderness,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
17 to him owho struck down great kings,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
18and killed mighty kings,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
19Sihon, king of the Amorites,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
20and Og, king of Bashan,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
21and gave their land as a heritage,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
22a heritage to Israel his pservant,
for his steadfast love endures forever.
23 It is he who qremembered us in our low estate,

24and rrescued us from our foes,

Isaiah 63:7-14

The Lord’s Mercy Remembered

7 I will recount the steadfast love of the Lord,
the praises of the Lord,
according to all that the Lord has granted us,
sand the great goodness to the house of Israel
that he has granted them according to his compassion,
according to the abundance of his steadfast love.
8For he said, “Surely they are my people,
children who will not deal falsely.”
And he became their Savior.
9 tIn all their affliction he was afflicted,
Or  he did not afflict

and the angel of his presence saved them;
vin his love and in his pity he redeemed them;
whe lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
10 xBut they rebelled
yand grieved his Holy Spirit;
therefore he turned to be their enemy,
and himself fought against them.
11Then he remembered zthe days of old,
of Moses and his people.
Or  Then his people remembered the days of old, of Moses

abWhere is he who brought them up out of the sea
with the shepherds of his flock?
Where is he who put in the midst of them
his Holy Spirit,
12who caused his glorious arm
to go at the right hand of Moses,
acwho divided the waters before them
adto make for himself an everlasting name,
13who led them through the depths?
Like a horse in the desert,
they did not stumble.
14Like livestock that go down into the valley,
aethe Spirit of the Lord gave them rest.
So you led your people,
afto make for yourself a glorious name.

Ezekiel 20:14-17

14But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, agin whose sight I had brought them out. 15Moreover, ahI swore to them in the wilderness aithat I would not bring them into the land that I had given them, a land ajflowing with milk and honey, akthe most glorious of all lands, 16because they rejected my rules and did not walk in my statutes, and profaned my Sabbaths; alfor their heart went after their idols. 17Nevertheless, ammy eye spared them, and I did not destroy them or anmake a full end of them in the wilderness.
