Psalms 106:12-13

12Then athey believed his words;
they bsang his praise.
13 But they soon cforgot his works;
they did not wait for dhis counsel.

Jeremiah 2:11-13

11 eHas a nation changed its gods,
feven though they are no gods?
But my people ghave changed their glory
for hthat which does not profit.
12Be appalled, iO heavens, at this;
be shocked, be utterly desolate,

13for my people have committed two evils:
jthey have forsaken kme,

and hewed out cisterns for themselves,
broken cisterns that can hold no water.

Jeremiah 7:23-24
