Psalms 106:45

45For their sake he aremembered his covenant,
and brelented according to cthe abundance of his steadfast love.

Jeremiah 18:7-8

7If at any time I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom, that I will dpluck up and break down and destroy it, 8and if that nation, concerning which I have spoken, eturns from its evil, fI will relent of the disaster that I intended to do to it.

Amos 7:2-6

2When they had finished eating the grass of the land, I said,

“O Lord God, please forgive!
gHow can Jacob stand?
He is so small!”
3 hThe Lord relented concerning this:
“It shall not be,” said the Lord.
4 iThis is what the Lord God showed me: behold, the Lord God was calling jfor a judgment by fire, and it devoured the great deep and was eating up the land. 5Then I said,

“O Lord God, please cease!
kHow can Jacob stand?
He is so small!”
6 lThe Lord relented concerning this:
This also shall not be,” said the Lord God.

Jonah 4:2

2And he prayed to the Lord and said, “O Lord, is not this what I said when I was yet in my country? mThat is why I made haste to flee to Tarshish; for I knew that you are a ngracious God and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and orelenting from disaster.
