The Lord’s Day of Vengeance

1 Who is this who comes from bEdom,
in crimsoned garments from cBozrah,
he who is splendid in his apparel,

“It is I, speaking in righteousness,
mighty to save.”
2 Why is your eapparel red,
and your garments like his fwho treads in the winepress?
3 g“I have trodden the winepress alone,
hand from the peoples no one was with me;
I trod them in my anger
and trampled them in my wrath;
their lifeblood
Or  their juice; also verse 6
spattered on my garments,
and stained all my apparel.
4 jFor the day of vengeance was in my heart,
and my year of redemption
Or the year of my redeemed
had come.
5I looked, but lthere was no one to help;
I was appalled, but there was no one to uphold;
so my own arm brought me salvation,
and my wrath upheld me.

Micah 2:13

13 mHe who opens the breach goes up before them;
they break through and pass the gate,
ngoing out by it.
Their king passes on before them,
othe Lord at their head.
