Psalms 109:8-20

8 May his ^adays be few;
may ^banother take his ^coffice!
9 May his ^dchildren be fatherless
and his wife a widow!
10 May his children ^ewander about and beg,
^fseeking food far from the ruins they inhabit!
11 May ^gthe creditor seize all that he has;
may ^hstrangers plunder the fruits of his toil!
12 Let there be none to ⁱextend kindness to him,
nor any to ^jpity his fatherless children!
13 May his ^kposterity be cut off;
may his ^lname be blotted out in the second generation!
14 May ^mthe iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord,
and let not the sin of his mother be ⁿblotted out!
15 ^oLet them be before the Lord continually,
that he may ^pcut off the memory of them from the earth!
16 For he did not remember to show kindness,
but pursued ^qthe poor and needy
and ^rthe brokenhearted, to put them to death.
17 ^sHe loved to curse; let curses come ^{▼▼Revocalization; Masoretic Text curses have come} upon him!
He did not delight in blessing; may it be far ^{▼▼Revocalization; Masoretic Text it is far} from him!
18 He ^vclothed himself with cursing as his coat;
may it ^wsoak ^{▼▼Revocalization; Masoretic Text it has soaked} into his body like water,
like oil into his bones!
19 May it be like a garment that he wraps around him,
like a belt that he puts on every day!
20 May this be the reward of my ^yaccusers from the Lord,
of those who speak evil against my life!
