Psalms 110:1-4

Sit at My Right Hand

A Psalm of David.

1 aThe Lord says to my Lord:
bSit at my right hand,
cuntil I make your enemies your dfootstool.”
2 The Lord sends forth efrom Zion
fyour mighty scepter.
gRule in the midst of your enemies!
3 hYour people will ioffer themselves freely
on the day of your jpower,
Or  on the day you lead your forces

in lholy garments;
Masoretic Text; some Hebrew manuscripts and Jerome on the holy mountains

from the womb of the morning,
the dew of your youth will be yours.
The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain

4 oThe Lord has psworn
and will qnot change his mind,
r“You are sa priest tforever
after the order of uMelchizedek.”

Isaiah 9:6-7

6 vFor to us a child is born,
to us wa son is given;
xand the government shall be yupon
Or is upon
his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Or is called

Wonderful abCounselor, acMighty God,
adEverlasting aeFather, Prince of afPeace.
7Of the increase of his government and of peace
agthere will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
ahwith justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
aiThe zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

Jeremiah 23:5-6

5 ajBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous akBranch, and alhe shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 6In his days Judah will be saved, and amIsrael will andwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: ao‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

Ezekiel 34:24

24And apI, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. aqI am the Lord; I have spoken.

Ezekiel 37:24

24“My servant arDavid asshall be king over them, and they shall all have atone shepherd. auThey shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes.

Daniel 2:44-45

44And in the days of those kings avthe God of heaven will set up awa kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. axIt shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and ayit shall stand forever, 45just as azyou saw that baa stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that bbit broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A bcgreat God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.”
