Psalms 110:1-5

Sit at My Right Hand

A Psalm of David.

1 aThe Lord says to my Lord:
bSit at my right hand,
cuntil I make your enemies your dfootstool.”
2 The Lord sends forth efrom Zion
fyour mighty scepter.
gRule in the midst of your enemies!
3 hYour people will ioffer themselves freely
on the day of your jpower,
Or  on the day you lead your forces

in lholy garments;

from the womb of the morning,
the dew of your youth will be yours.
The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain

4 oThe Lord has psworn
and will qnot change his mind,
r“You are sa priest tforever
after the order of uMelchizedek.”
5 The Lord is at your vright hand;
he will wshatter kings on xthe day of his wrath.

Isaiah 7:14

14Therefore the yLord himself will give you a sign. zBehold, the aavirgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name abImmanuel.
 Immanuel means God is with us

Isaiah 9:6-7

6 adFor to us a child is born,
to us aea son is given;
afand the government shall be agupon

and his name shall be called

Wonderful ajCounselor, akMighty God,
alEverlasting amFather, Prince of anPeace.
7Of the increase of his government and of peace

on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
apwith justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.

Jeremiah 23:5-6

5 arBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous asBranch, and athe shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 6In his days Judah will be saved, and auIsrael will avdwell securely.
