2 The Lord sends forth ^efrom Zion
^fyour mighty scepter.
^gRule in the midst of your enemies!
3 ^hYour people will ⁱoffer themselves freely
on the day of your ^jpower, ^{▼▼Or on the day you lead your forces}
in ^lholy garments; ^{▼▼Masoretic Text; some Hebrew manuscripts and Jerome on the holy mountains}
from the womb of the morning,
the dew of your youth will be yours. ^{▼▼The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain}
4 ^oThe Lord has ^psworn
and will ^qnot change his mind,
^r“You are ^sa priest ^tforever
after the order of ^uMelchizedek.”
5 The Lord is at your ^vright hand;
he will ^wshatter kings on ^xthe day of his wrath.

Isaiah 7:14

14 Therefore the ^yLord himself will give you a sign. ^zBehold, the ^aavirgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name ^abImmanuel. ^{▼▼ Immanuel means God is with us}

Isaiah 9:6-7

Jeremiah 23:5-6
